An exhibition about responsibility and awareness that transforms waste into visual
“DEEESTUL!” photography exhibition took place between October 14–31, 2020, in the Odeon Theatre Square in Bucharest.
The event featured 10 photographs — a metaphoric visual expression of the impact that irresponsible and uncontrolled disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) has on the environment.
The photographic art project aims to raise awareness about the urgent need to rethink our value system and reconsider our consumption habits in order to prevent irreversible damage to the planet, the loss of natural beauty, and the deterioration of people’s health.
It’s time to stop being indifferent, to stop waiting for someone else to clean up after us.
It’s time to get involved and treat the Planet with the respect it deserves — as the home that it truly is.
