Since 2011, ENVIRON has been building, together with teachers, curious students and aware parents, a national community through the Baterel, Hero of Recycling campaign — an interactive, fun and effective educational program dedicated to WEEE and used battery collection.

An annual educational program, rolled out nationwide, involving schools, kindergartens, and high schools in WEEE and battery collection, creative competitions, ecological thinking themes, and engaging activations.

Students earn points through recycling, which they redeem for rewards. Teachers manage all school activities from the school account. Everything is transparent, motivating, and gamified.

Educational materials & collection infrastructure

“2 Minutes with Amy” – modern video lessons

We turn environmental education into appealing content for kids. The animated “2 Minutes with Amy” series explains in simple terms what WEEE are, why recycling matters, and how a used battery pollutes if not handled properly.

Open lessons, age- and level-adapted

Environmental education comes alive when stories are told with enthusiasm, and heroes come into the classroom. Amy leads interactive lessons in schools or online, depending on what works best. Often accompanied by the mascot Baterel, lessons are dynamic, age-appropriate, with attractive visual materials, simple experiments, and educational games.

Local involvement, national recognition

The most engaged schools are promoted and awarded annually. You can earn diplomas, trophies, classroom equipment, or useful products for students — all through joint effort and recycling.
