Public
authorities

Public administration is not just about power, decisions, and budgets. It also means responsibility, care for people, places, and the future.

In 2025, responsibility is also measured in collection infrastructure, real campaigns, and active involvement in sustainability.

Clean public spaces start with the right infrastructure.

ENVIRON works with authorities across the country to turn the collection of electrical waste into a functional, visible, and efficient system – with collection points, local actions, and community support.

How do you know you need our services?

  • You want to set up collection infrastructure in your city or town.
  • You need a solution for collecting old equipment from public institutions.
  • You want to organize information campaigns for citizens.
  • You have received complaints or requests from the public and want to provide concrete answers to these needs.

When is the right time to start working with us?

  • When you want to bring visible solutions to your community, not just posters with slogans.
  • When you want your city or town to have a real partner – involved and ready to take action.
  • When people ask you “Where can I drop off an old fridge?” and you want to have a clear answer, not a vague promise.
  • When you want to bring order to the chaos of forgotten electronics in attics, garages, or basements.

FAQ

  • Local authorities play an important role in informing residents about the need for separate collection and recycling of WEEE, and they contribute to increasing the collection rate by organizing municipal collection campaigns.
  • In accordance with the provisions of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 5/2015, Art. 9 (5), adopted through Law no. 127/2024, the disposal of WEEE as unsorted municipal waste is prohibited, and administrative-territorial units, through deliberative authorities, are obliged to ensure the collection of WEEE from households through fixed collection centers, mobile collection points, or periodic collection with designated operators, at least once per quarter (Art. 10, para. 2 of the same regulation)

We provide dedicated containers for small and large electrical waste, suitable both for indoor spaces (hallways, waiting areas) and for outdoor placement

Yes, during certain campaigns we also provide a home pick-up service for large equipment. This is offered free of charge, based on a phone appointment.
Of course. We can also collect electrical waste from schools, kindergartens, libraries, and medical centers, either through scheduled campaigns or on request.
Any electrical or electronic device that no longer works or is no longer used: from TVs, printers, and refrigerators to batteries, phones, light bulbs, or cables.

The protocol is a simple agreement that sets the framework for carrying out collection campaigns and/or installing WEEE collection infrastructure. It does not involve any costs for the local authority and can be customized according to the specific needs of the locality.
