- In accordance with the provisions of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 5/2015, Art. 9 (5), adopted through Law no. 127/2024, the disposal of WEEE as unsorted municipal waste is prohibited, and administrative-territorial units, through deliberative authorities, are obliged to ensure the collection of WEEE from households through fixed collection centers, mobile collection points, or periodic collection with designated operators, at least once per quarter (Art. 10, para. 2 of the same regulation)
