The actions performed by the Environ Association in the period of 2007-2009 focused on achieving assumed goals:

to promote collection and treatment solutions at a national level
to conclude partnerships with authorities of the local public administration
to observe the conditions and rates of recovery, reuse and recycling of WEEE set through the National Strategy for Waste Management, through the National Plan for Waste Management, as well as through the Implementation Plan of the Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment;
to collect and treat all kinds of waste electrical and electronic equipment in a non-discriminating manner, irrespective of the amounts proposed for collection by economic agents;
to initiate research projects and studies in the field of waste collection, transportation, storage, evaluation and treatment
to conduct educational and information/awareness raising programs
to cooperate with other similar organizations

More than 160 members (link to the members page)
Infrastructure investments at a national level in the collection scheme (more than 400 fixed and mobile containers), including national and international retail networks: Domo, Carrefour, Auchan, Selgros, Kaufland, Real, Romstal, Asesoft Distribution;

Logistic support for the collection services provided for more than 400 stores in the national retail network
Design and implementation of the business to business software solution for the automation of waste electrical and electronic equipment collection and transportation processes (WEEE): WEB WEEE – unique project at a national level
More than 8600 tonnes of collected waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
More than 8400 tonnes of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycled at the highest standards;
Container endowment of the Remat Holding network and of the most important sanitation agents in Romania;
Partnerships with the local authorities directly involved in waste management through “one day collection” campaigns
Numerous “one day collection” type campaigns, that have increased the WEEE collection rate
Numerous prizes awarded for the Association’s environmental protection actions
Development o fan efficient WEEE collection and transportation system, covering 99% of the retail structure at a national level.
